Plain-language version: this is a static travel guide. We collect almost nothing, show no ads, and never sell data.

What we collect

  • Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics (gtag.js) with cookie-based measurement. It records approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, pages viewed, and referral source. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not link it to anything else about you.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention.
  • No accounts, no forms, no payment data. There is nothing on this site that asks you to submit personal information.

Third-party content on pages

The homepage map loads street tiles directly from OpenStreetMap's public tile servers, so your browser makes requests to tile.openstreetmap.org when the map is visible. The text-to-speech buttons use your own browser's built-in speech engine and send nothing anywhere.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and standard analytics opt-out browser add-ons are available from your browser's extension store. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect reading the guide.

  • All information is provided for general guidance, without warranty. Visa rules, prices, opening hours, and transport details change — confirm with official sources before you travel.
  • You may share links to our pages freely. Republishing substantial parts of the guides requires written permission by email.
  • External sites linked from these pages have their own policies; we are not responsible for them.
